"My wife and I called with a plumbing emergency on a Sunday afternoon. William (?), the dispatcher, was friendly and attentive, and gave a totally accurate ETA. Jeremy Harris, the technician, was friendly, methodical, polite...the works. He didn't promise that our issue wouldn't recur, because one of the pipes is in need of eventual replacement. Instead, he suggested that at some point, we contact him or another plumber to fix the situation. That honesty was refreshing. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. You'll see DrainWorks vans everywhere -- they've got the founder's picture on them. If you're gonna put your face on your vans, you better be darn sure run a great company. DrainWorks is definitely a great company. 10/10 "

Exceptional service

"On a Thursday we had a flooding basement. On a Friday afternoon I called DRAIN WORKS from the office. Before I arrived home, they had fixed the problem. I met with the service man "Matt", as he had just cleaned up. He took the time to re-explain everything to me, and did it with the exceptional Customer service. On Saturday, another crew arrived as we decided to upgrade to avoid further problems. I was impressed by Misha and his associate, at the professionalism they displayed. The care they took at the front lawn, and keeping me posted of their progress. I have dealt with many contractors and services since purchasing this house, I would state that this company - DRAIN WORKS, which actually came recommended by a friend, is by far THE BEST company or service I've hired to work on my house. From rates, to Customer Service, to finished result...absolutely exceptional. As far as I'm concerned, regardless of the homes I own, I will only ever dial for DRAIN WORKS. Their equipment is clean and presentable. Their staff is knowlegable and friendly. I even appreciated their coat-of-arms. That tells me the pride that they have in their job. Simply put, they are professionals, and a pleasure to hire."

"Does this sound familiar? You try contacting a tradesman to complete a small household project and they don't even have the courtesy to return your calls. Not the professional folks at DrainWorks! We wanted to replace our old cement laundry tub, along with a few old leaky taps around the house. One call to DrainWorks was all it took to get a professional repair job done, at the date and time promised, and at a fair and reasonable price. "After using another company previously and being duped with work that had to be done, I was nervous about using another plumber in case the same thing happened again. How wrong I was!!! From the moment I placed my call I received superior customer service. I was notified that the plumber was minutes away and Armando was on the spot within an hour and a half of my call. Not only was the problem fixed very quickly but I received information all the way along from Armando, along with hints and suggestions with NO PRESSURE whatsoever. "Thank you Drainworks! This is an extremely professional company. Mike and Eric were the best - explaining everything thoroughly throughout the project. Some issues arose with the water line upgrade due to problems on the city side, but Mike put me at ease and solved the problem quickly and seemlessly. Not only are they good at the work, but they are exceptional problem solvers. What a relief that was! The city upgraded their side of the water line after Drainworks completed their work. We knew that would mean another trip from Drainworks a couple of weeks after the initial work was done. True to their word, I gave them a days notice and Micha was here. You don't get that kind of service everywhere! Micha and Stephan were exceptional drain replacement specialists. Not only are they extremely competent at drain replacement & water line upgrades, but they cleaned up better than I've ever seen before. What a treat! "In mid-February of 2007, near disaster was averted, thanks to Drainworks. On Valentine's Day we were greeted with a basment toilet and shower that were backing up. Drainworks was called immediately (I wouldn't call any other company!), and they were there later that morning! Mike and his highly skilled crew showed us the immense tree-root damage to our old clay pipes via their special underground inspection cameras, and suggested how to proceed. At 8:20 am the very next day they were back to solve the problem, digging up our basement concrete and replacing 10 feet of old clay with new PVC pipe. Just as they had done two years ago, when we had the same problem with our pipes (but outside, beneath our driveway), Mike and his crew were nothing short of outstanding. From the initial phone call right to the completion of the job, Drainworks was efficient, professional, courteous and punctual. I give Drainworks my highest recommendation and whole-heartedly suggest anyone with drain/plumbing issues to contact the best plumbing and drain company in the city. Bravo, Drainworks!"

"As a new homeowner, I wasn't thrilled when only 3 months later my toilet started overflowing any time I flushed the toilet, had a shower or simply ran the tap. I had actually called Drainworks at 8:30pm on a Monday night after being stood up by another company, who said they would be at my house by 6pm. The phone call was friendly and not only that but a service representative was at my home within a half an hour of calling. They provide great service, are very professional and provide make sense options."

"We had not used DrainWorks Plumbing before June 2006, we had a flood in our Basement whilst we were away, and upon return found a complete mess. We called DrainWorks from an ad in the yellow pages, the dispatcher was efficient, and told us he would have a worker at our home within an hour or two. Well I couldn't believe it when Mike showed up with his partner Eric, what a great pair they are. Polite, helpful,funny, just the kind of guys we needed , because we were sressed.They used their camera equipment and located the problem which entailed the whole of the family room floor being torn up, and the front lawn as well. They gave us a price, we agreed, they started work the next day. We have never seen people work as well, and as efficiently, it was hot, they never complained. Unfortunately we found more work to be done at the rear of the house, the clay pipes had disintegrated from age, and all needed to be replaced, they gave us a most fair price for the additional work and completed it promptly We have since had Mike and Eric back this year first for a plugged kitchen sink , and then for frozen pipes today. Once again these guys were superior workmen , congenial, amusing, and they made the bill hurt even less DrainWorks are good at what they do, they have good loyal employees in Mike and Eric, DrainWorks are fortunate to have these gentlemen, and so were we."

"Drainworks is the kind of company that sets an example for all the others. They are telling the truth when they say they're the smartest choice in the book. We found them sort of by accident when we saw one of their well-marked trucks on our street. We had recently undergone extensive home renovations. The original contractor's plumber made some very bad decisions, leaving us with a lot of difficult plumbing problems. Some of our drains wouldn?t work one of our toilets filled with hot water instead of cold pipes leaked it was awful. Right from the start, Drainworks was efficient. Their technician was well-trained, assessed our problems, offered solutions, gave us a written quote and cleaned up carefully before leaving the house. It all worked! We have counted on Drainworks for all our plumbing needs ever since and they have never failed us. "

"Eight months ago my main drain was not draining quickly enough and I had some backup into the basement. Frank Casciaro of Drainworks cleaned out the roots and suggested additional work of replacing old clay tiles with PVC piping from the house to the city line. I didn't proceed with it at that time. A week ago on a Friday morning it happened again and I was due to leave for vacation the next day. I called Drainworks and John Paul was the first person I spoke to and he was very professional and helpful and understood my dilemma and pulled up the previous quote from 8 months ago. John Paul was able to arrange for a crew to come out that day. A more extensive replacement was recommended and they complete it on the Saturday. The unfortunate part was that it meant that they would have to dig up a garden that had been landscaped the previous summer. They were reluctant to replant my shrubs but they said ok because I would not be around to replant and the shrubs would die as a result. When I got back a week later I was expecting a bit of a mess and was very pleasantly surprised how well everything looked including the garden. Armando came out the next day for me to sign off on the work and he took the time to show me the camera view of the drain work that had been done. He also did a camera inspection going back into the house. He was very thorough and wanted to make sure that I was satisfied. By my rating, I am completely. Thanks."

"First off I would like to say that I was greatly impressed with the service and workmanship DrainWorks had provided. I called DrainWorks because sewage water was coming into my basement from my floor drain. I spoke to the receptionist who had sent Lou to asses the situation first thing in the morning. Lou had showed up ON TIME and was very polite and very respectful of my property. Lou had shown me what the problem was and outlined how the problem could be fixed. Before any work had begun I was given a detailed quote which outlined the price and work that was to take place. NO SURPRISES. DrainWorks finished the job on time and left the work cite spotless. "When Jeremy first arrived, he reassured me that he would do everything he could to resolve me drain problem. And that he did. He went over and beyond the call of duty to try and resolve the issue. When Jeremy realized that there was a problem that he couldn't repair he suggested the next course of action. The crew that came to excavate and correct the drain problem were wonderful always kept me informed as to what they were doing.(I felt sorry for them and made them coffee because that day it was cold and it rained all day.) Fred and Lou both answered any questions I had the day of excavation, and Lou went out in the rain and looked at my downspots and gave me valuable suggestions as to how to disconnect them properly. I would recommend drainworks again and will call again in the future if and when there is a plumbing or drain problem.
