Clogged Drain? We Fix it Right the First Time (and Hopefully Last Time)

April 18th, 2012 · No Comments · by

We met with Mike from Drainworks two days ago regarding a clogged drain. Mike quickly assessed the situation and determined that it was likely an issue with the P trap that was put in when the house was built, nearly 100 years ago. This had been a recurring issue for us. He presented our options without any pressure, and suggested that we remove the trap. We agreed, and the crew arrived yesterday (the next day!) to get the work done. They were quick and neat, and arranged everything properly: gas line location, city inspector. It was all done in a few hours. Mike’s assessment was correct. When the crew dug out the trap, they had to take out a section of garden wall I put in a couple of years ago. It was not their responsibility to put it back, but they did anyway and left everything neat and looking good. They even made sure that the clean-outs would be in our garden rather than the middle of our walkway. All in all, we were very impressed with their friendliness, professionalism and attention to detail. Plus, they were much cheaper than other quotes we received. At the end of the job, they ran cameras through our entire plumbing system including right up to toilets to make sure that everything looked great.
