Plumbing Terminology 101:

The Accordion Plunger

There are numerous types of plungers available for you to clear your clogged drains; be it sink, toilet, tub, or otherwise. All plungers utilize the same principle. A plunger is used to create a positive or negative pressure inside the pipe to loosen the blockage/backup and enable flow to be restored the problematic drain.

As an aside, these are the plungers our Toronto plumbing and drain technicians use, so the next time you need a plunger, purchase an accordion style one.

Got a more serious clog issue that the accordion plunger can’t fix? Leave it to DrainWorks, the Toronto Plumber you can rely on.
