A couple of the more common issues that may potentially cause a bad odor in your washroom or your home include:

  • Clogged Drains;
  • Cracked, Loose or Dry Pipes – water in the p-trap has dried out, allowing sewer gas into the home;

As the plumbers in Toronto that you can trust, we have years of experience in fixing the underlying causes of your bad plumbing odors, from Mississauga to Scarborough and all around the Greater Toronto Area.

On with the feedback:

Clogged Sewage Pipes

We had sewage backing up into our downstairs bathroom. Diagnosis was done quickly and all prices were given up front. Choices were clearly explained. Service was very friendly and professional. They took extra care to not damage my garden and cleaned up extremely thoroughly. And best of all, the problem no longer exists!

Replacement of broken sewer pipe in basement.

We had to replace pipes under the basement floor due to a crack that was allowing noxious sewer gases to leak into the basement. We’ve used Drainworks in the past for small jobs and have been happy so we decided to call them again. They set up an appointment for the next day. They were on time and with their video inspection equipment quickly narrowed down the cause and made recommendations and prepared a quote. They showed up on time the following day to partially remove the basement floor and reconfigure and replace the piping. They were very neat and clean and used drop clothes so that they did not track dirt. Mike Dunn, Drainwork’s certified technician was friendly, helpful and very professional. The workmen were also very professional and pleasant to deal with. We were very satisfied with the job they did.

Sewer drain + Camera + Clean

Persistent bad smell from sewer drain in basement and other companies came, with no positive results. One gave complex suggestions including cutting up concrete floor and installing new drains (without a camera inspection). Drainworks personnel clear and specific on the phone re need for a camera inspection first to diagnose, gave cost. Jeremy came, he was professional, conscientious, thorough. He was very patient with the challenging situation. He ensured that the inspection was thorough, diagnosed the problem and fixed it. After weeks of living with the smell and disappointing results from other companies, we are very satisfied and pleased.

– Carol from East York
